Prisoner health is a crucial aspect of the correctional system. Unhygienic environmental condition and poor sanitation can have fatal consequences for prisoner health, particularly in terms of the spread of infectious diseases. This research aims to analyze the impact of prison on inmate health. This study employs quantitative research methods, collecting data through surveys using questionnaire and literature reviews. The collected data were analyzed using simple percentage and analysis. The results indicate a significant relationship between the level of hygiene and sanitation and the health status of prisoners. Prisoners living in more hygienic environment with better sanitation have better health levels.
