Abstract

The fat soluble vitamins of carrot and morigar leaf were investigated by using coconut oil as carrier solvent and standard methods described by association of analytical chemists(A.O.A.C)(2000). The result shows that extractable fat soluble vitamin in carrot are Vitamin A(10.0mg/100g), vitamin D(0.59mg/100g), Vitamin E(1.38mg/100g) and Vitamin K(1.72mg/100g), While morigar leaf extract contain Vitamin A(4.65mg/100g), Vitamin D(0.28mg/100g), Vitamin E(0.56mg/100g) and Vitamin K (0.97mg/100g). Therefore, Carrot extract has higher fat soluble content than morigar leaf extract. However anyone of them can be use as food supplement as fat soluble vitamin
