This study explores the Examine the influence of citizen journalism in Nigeria broadcasting,exploring how ordinary citizens use social media and mobile technology to report news and information."A study of INSTABLOG9JA". The study adopted a survery research method. The researcher used questionnaire as instrument for data collection. The population of the study was 211, 538.642 and the sample size was 399. The study was anchored on Participatory Media Theory,Gatekeeping theory,while the data was analyzed using simple percentage and frequency distribution table. The study found that majority of the respondents said yes that Instablog9ja play a significant role in the Nigerian media landscape, base on the findings the following recommendations is to Foster collaborations with citizen journalists to enhance the breadth and depth of news coverage
