Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research examine the poverty crisis in Nigera: an analytical approach. An emperical analysis of the rate of poverty and the decomposition of poverty status in rural area like Oke-Ola Oro was carried out using a set of household data generated by the use of structured questionnaire. The findings revealed a complex web of local and systemic factors contributing to the high poverty rates in the area. Key issues include low-income level limited educational attainments, inadequate healthcare, and poor living conditions, all of which are compounded by broader economic challenges. These findings underscore the need for targeted intervention and policy reforms to break the cycle of poverty in oke-ola and beyond.
