IMPACT OF CUSTOMERS BRAND LOYALTY ON BUSINESS PERFORMANCE (A STUDY OF MTN LTD, ILORIN)
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research looks into the impact of customers’ brand devotion in the workplace performance, with a focus on how sustained consumer allegiance in relation to a brand influences organizational growth, profitability, and competitive advantage. Brand loyalty, characterized recurring business, favorable word-of-mouth, and resistance to switching, remains an important component in modern marketing strategies. The research adopted a descriptive survey approach, gathering information by structured questionnaires administered to both customers and business managers across selected industries. Results show that elevated levels of brand loyalty significantly enhance business performance by increasing market share, reducing marketing costs, and fostering long-term customer relationships. Additionally, loyal customers contribute to higher revenue generation and serve as informal brand ambassadors, promoting the brand within their social circles. The study comes to the conclusion that companies seeking to grow sustainably and profitability must prioritize strategies that foster and preserve a high level of client loyalty, like reliable product quality, first-rate customer service, and value-driven marketing campaigns. Recommendations are made for companies to continuously innovate and engage loyal customers to maintain their confidence in a very competitive market environment
