DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ENERGY MONITORING SYSTEM
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The increasing global demand for electricity and the need for efficient energy utilization have necessitated the development of smart energy monitoring solutions. The PZEM004T sensor, NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, and Blynk mobile application are used in this project to design, build, and deploy an energy monitoring system that can monitor electrical parameters in real-time. Key electrical metrics like voltage, current, power, and energy usage are measured by the system, which wirelessly sends the data to a cloud platform for remote control and visualization. The Blynk app offers an easy-to-use interface for historical data tracking and real-time monitoring, allowing users to watch their energy usage trends and make wise decisions to cut down on waste. The solution also facilitates scalability for integration with home automation frameworks and smart grids. The designed energy monitoring system contributes to energy conservation and sustainability goals by providing a low-cost, portable, and effective solution for small-scale industrial and residential energy management.
