Abstract
ABSTRACT
The study was carried out on application of I.C.T for storage and retrieval of information in E-libraries, a case study of federal university dutsinma Katsina state for research questions ware formulated for the study toguidetheresearcher, objectivesofthestudy,significance ofthestudy.Aquantitativeresearchdesign was adopted for the study;; summary of the major finding was formulated for the study ,following finding are factors that motivate the user of FUDMA LIBRARY KATSINA STATE to adopt I.C.T are to automate the library services, the majority of I.C..Tequipment's in the library computer, other device are; telephones, internet and fax machine, I.C.T equipment's actually assisted in retrieval of information. summary,recommendations’ Adequate measures should be taken to ensure the maintainance and improvement of satisfaction indicated by the user, users should be enlightened on the relevance of internet services rendered by fudma library katsina state so they could be maximally utilized, more emphasis shouldbegiventotheuser'sorientationtoenhancetheutilizationofthe resourcesandservicesoffered by fudma, adequate provisionoffundsshouldbe made available forthe maintainance andupgrading of the library software.
