EFFECT OF CORPORATE PLANNING ON ORGANIZATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY IN SELECTED MANUFACTURING FIRMS IN KOGI STATE

ABSTRACT The research project titled: “Effect of Corporate Planning on Organizational Productivity in selected Manufacturing Firms in Kogi State”. The objectives are to Determine the effect of corporate planning on organization productivity, to assess the effect of strategic formulation on organizational productivity The main source of data for this research work was gotten from the primary source which was collected through questionnaire. The methodology used is chi-square statistical instrument. Having analyses the relevant data collected, recommendations were made. It is recommended that, owner/managers of manufacturing firm should adopt strategic formulation of policies that encourage employees’ productivity The relationship between management and employees’ should be improved through adequate communication this will engender employees’ commitment and improved organization productivity, It is also recommended that there should be regular performance appraisal that provides feedbacks on the level of employees’ performance this will provide room for corrections where standards are not conformed with, Finally, the corporate planning of the company should be such that will enhances employees’ productivity, this will in turn improve the productivity level of each employee.
