ABSTRACT
This project examined the effectiveness of instructional material in teaching Agricultural Science in Secondary Schools at Ila Local Government Area of Osun state .For the purpose of this study a questionnaire was structured to be administered by both teachers and students In the public secondary schools, so that necessary information about the utilization of instructional materials is collected. The questionnaire comprises of two sections of which personal instruction of the respondents and the items relating to statements. Also the analysis of the response showed the teacher posture attitude to the use of instructional materials. The researcher therefore suggested that government should provide standard facilities for schools in terms of building, conducive environment for learning and instructional materials also, there is need to put in place appropriate educational planning and the logistic for implementation.
