IMPACT OF FISCAL POLICY ON HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research project aims to investigate the impact of fiscal policy on the human development
index (HDI) in a developing country from 1986 to 2022. The study adopts a quantitative research
approach, using a panel regression analysis to examine the relationship between fiscal policy
variables (including government expenditure, taxation, and public debt) and the HDI. The data
for the study will be sourced from secondary data and will cover a period of 36 years. The results
of the analysis will provide empirical evidence on the impact of fiscal policy on human
development. The study is significant because it can inform policy formulation and
implementation to improve human development outcomes in developing countries. The findings
of the research will be disseminated through academic publications and presentations to policy
makers. Overall, the research project aims to contribute to the existing literature on the
relationship between fiscal policy and human development in developing countries.
