ABSTRACT
This project is a research study on the Influence of Digital Technology in the teaching and learning of English
Language of selected secondary school in Atiba Local Government Aree of Oyo State. The finding from the
Analysis showed that nearly all the teachers don't know how to navigate computer system, also they don't
know how to use digital technology gadgets to facilitate teaching during the classroom discourse. The finding
from the analysis also showed that little of the gadgets provided by the government are not duly taken care of
by the schools. Besides finding from the analysis showed that nearly all the students are not duly exposed to
the various Digital Technology Gadgets and that is why they do fail in any examination being conducted in
CBT. The research hereby recommended that teachers should subject themselves to rigorous trainings,
seminars and workshops is that government should try as much as possible to always provide these gadgets
