Abstract

This study carried out an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of Tal’udu Interchange Kano, Kano State, to assess air quality, noise pollution, gaseous pollutants, drainage conditions, and public perception of the proposed development. Data were collected using environmental monitoring instruments and questionnaire surveys. The findings showed high levels of air and noise pollution mainly caused by traffic activities, waste disposal, and poor drainage conditions. Most respondents supported the proposed development due to its expected benefits on traffic flow and drainage improvement. The study recommended proper environmental management, pollution control, and regular monitoring to reduce environmental impacts.
