Abstract

The increasing demand for energy and the rising cost and environmental impact of fossil fuels have led to the search for alternative power sources. This study focuses on the design and fabrication of a fuel-less generator, a system capable of generating electrical energy without the use of conventional fuels such as petrol or diesel. The project explores the principles of electromagnetic induction, mechanical motion, and renewable energy conversion. The generator operates using a combination of permanent magnets, coils, and a rotational mechanism powered by stored mechanical energy or renewable sources. Materials were carefully selected and assembled to construct a working prototype. The results demonstrate that while a completely “fuel-less” system may rely on an initial energy input, the system can significantly reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The study concludes that such generators have potential applications in small-scale power supply, especially in rural and off-grid areas. Recommendations are made for further improvements in efficiency and scalability.
