Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on student performance in physics within the context of Dekina Local Government Area in Kogi State, Nigeria. The research explores the extent to which the integration of ICT tools and resources impacts students' understanding and achievement in physics. Preliminary findings suggest that while there is growing access to ICT resources among students in Dekina, significant disparities exist in terms of availability and quality of technology infrastructure. The study also reveals varying levels of enthusiasm among students, teachers, and parents regarding the integration of ICT in physics education. The quantitative analysis indicates a positive correlation between the utilization of ICT tools and improved student performance in physics. However, the extent of this correlation may depend on factors such as access to technology, teacher training, and student engagement.
