Abstract

This research explores the development and implementation of a web-based Student Complaint Management System tailored for Kogi State tertiary institutions, using the Iterative Model methodology. The Iterative Model's flexibility, adaptability, and focus on continuous feedback make it ideal for projects where requirements evolve over time. The current manual complaint management system in many institutions is plagued by inefficiencies, delays, and security concerns, leading to dissatisfaction among students and administrators. To address these challenges, the proposed system introduces a centralized, web-based platform that allows students to submit, track, and manage complaints efficiently. Key advantages of the new system include enhanced accessibility, improved communication, streamlined processes, centralized data management, robust security, and a user-friendly interface. The proposed solution aims to significantly improve the overall management and resolution of student complaints, thereby enhancing the experience for both students and administrators. The system's architecture, implementation, and testing phases are meticulously planned to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the institution, ultimately leading to a more efficient and student-centric approach to complaint handling.
