THE PRODUCTON HAND FAN WITH FLEX VINYL MATERIAL USING LARGE FORMAT PRINTING PROCESS
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This project focuses on the production of a hand fan using flex vinyl material through the large format printing process. The study aimed at exploring the practicality, durability, and visual quality achievable with large format printing technology when applied to the production of functional promotional items. The project involved several stages, including artwork design, image output using a large format printer, cutting, and mounting of the printed flex vinyl onto a hand fan frame.
Findings from the practical production revealed that flex vinyl material is highly suitable for hand fan production due to its excellent printability, flexibility, and resistance to environmental conditions such as heat and moisture. The large format printing process produced high-resolution images with vibrant colors and consistent quality. Challenges encountered during production, such as print head clogging and cutting alignment issues, were effectively managed through proper machine maintenance and careful handling of materials. The study concludes that the combination of flex vinyl material and large format printing is an efficient and cost-effective method for producing durable and aesthetically appealing hand fans for promotional and functional use.
