Social Studies undergraduate’s view regarding the abuse of the Naira and its implications for the Nigerian economy reveals a complex understanding of both economic principles and societal impacts. Descriptive survey research was used. One hundred and thirty (130) students serves as samples. Four research questions were raised. Questionnaire was used to gather the information. The information gathered was analysed using mean and standard deviation method. The findings indicated that many students recognize that the devaluation and misuse of the Naira stem from a combination of factors, including corruption, poor fiscal policies, and a lack of accountability in governance. This abuse not only affects the currency's value but also has far-reaching consequences for the overall economy, leading to inflation, reduced purchasing power, and increased poverty levels. Undergraduates often express concern about the socio-economic ramifications of a weakened Naira, particularly its impact on everyday citizens. They highlight that the depreciation of the currency exacerbates inequality, as those with fixed incomes suffer the most. Additionally, students emphasize the importance of financial literacy and civic engagement in addressing these issues, advocating for reforms that promote transparency and responsible economic management. In conclusion, Social Studies undergraduates perceive the abuse of the Naira as a critical issue that requires urgent attention. They believe that addressing this problem is essential for stabilizing the Nigerian economy and improving the quality of life for its citizens. Their insights underscore the need for a multifaceted approach that combines economic policy reform with active participation from the public
