Abstract

The integration of e-learning technologies in business education programmes has become essential for enhancing teaching and learning outcomes in tertiary institutions. This study aimed to assess the availability and utilization of e-learning technologies in business education programmes in tertiary institutions in Oyo State. A descriptive survey research design was employed, and data was collected from 120 respondents using a structured questionnaire. The results revealed that while e-learning technologies are available in most institutions, their utilization is hindered by factors such as inadequate infrastructure, poor internet connectivity, and lack of technical support. The study recommends that institutions should invest in robust infrastructure, provide regular training for educators, and ensure seamless internet connectivity to enhance the utilization of e-learning technologies. The findings of this study have implications for policymakers, educators, and researchers in the field of business education.
