ASSESMENT OF THE AVAILABILITY AND USE OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS IN TEACHING AND LEARNING OF BASIC SCIENCE IN SOME SELECTED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS: A CASE STUDY WUDIL LOCAL GOVERNMENT KANO STATE.
Abstract
The mapped area is located within latitudes of 10°20'30"N and 10°20'27"N the longitude of 11°15'00"E and 11°16'21″E covering an area of approximately 30km2 on a scale of 1:25,000 within sheet 152NW Gombe . The litho-stratigraphic unit in the mapped area is mainly Bima,Gombe and Kerri- kerri Formation and essentially consists of sandstone, clay. The sand stone ranges from fine-medium in their grain sizes depositional structures like cross bedding are present within the study area which shows the depositional environment of sandstone.
