DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE STUDENTS REGISTRATION AND COURSE ALLOCATION WEBSITE
Abstract
This project focuses on the design and implementation of an Online Student Registration and Course Allocation Website aimed at streamlining the enrollment process for educational institutions. The traditional registration methods often lead to inefficiencies, such as long queues and data entry errors, which this system seeks to eliminate. The proposed website features a user-friendly interface that allows students to register, manage their profiles, and select courses based on availability and prerequisites.
The system employs a relational database to securely store student information and course data, facilitating easy access and management. Additionally, it incorporates an automated course allocation algorithm that ensures equitable distribution of courses among students, minimizing conflicts and optimizing resource utilization.
Through rigorous testing and user feedback, the project demonstrates significant improvements in registration efficiency, user satisfaction, and administrative workflow. Ultimately, this online platform not only enhances the student experience but also contributes to the operational efficiency of educational institutions.
