CAUSES, COURSE AND IMPACT OF YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT MENACE IN NIGERIA 1980-2021
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the course, causes and impact of youth unemployment between 1980 2021, the significance of this work is enormous as it addresses one of the key issues of contemporary Nigeria.
The first chapter discussed the concept of youth and youth unemployment as well as a review of literature. It also includes objectives of study, scope of study, among other things.
The second chapter examined the causes of youth unemployment and its impact on Nigeria. It discussed the course of youth unemployment and gives a historical overview of youth unemployment.
The third examined government policies aimed at addressing youth unemployment, Private sectors efforts and also a comparison of the nature of youth unemployment in the 1980s and in contemporary times.
The fourth chapter contained, summary, conclusion and recommendations.
Part B contains oral interviews, journals, textbooks, etc. consulted in writing the essay.
