Abstract

ABSTRACT The project "Green Synthesis of cassia alata Zinc Nanoparticles" explores the use of Cassia alata a medicinal plant, in the green synthesis of zinc nanoparticles (ZnNPs). The study leverages the natural compounds in Cassia alataas reducing and stabilizing agents to synthesize ZnNPs in an eco-friendly manner, avoiding harmful chemicals typically used in conventional methods. The resulting ZnNPs are characterized for their size, shape, and stability using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. This research aims to assess the potential of biologically synthesized ZnNPs for various applications, including their antimicrobial, antioxidant, and catalytic properties, highlighting a sustainable approach to nanoparticle production that could have significant implications in nanomedicine and environmental technology. Keywords: Cassia alata Green synthesis, zinc, Nanoparticles
