Abstract
ABSTRACT
The study investigate the phytochemical of Lactarius rudidus an edible mushroom from Ikogosi-Ekiti Nigeria in which the study Evaluate the phytochemical properties of lactarius rudidus obtained from Ikogosi, Ekiti State, Nigeria. Phytochemicals in mushrooms refer to a diverse group of natural compounds found in these fungi that can have various beneficial effects on human health. Mushrooms, which have been a part of traditional diets and medicine for centuries. The study was carried out in Ikogosi situated in Ekiti west, Ekiti- State, Nigeria. Its geographical coordination are 70 35 North 40 59; 0 East. the chemical composition analysis indicates that the mushroom contains a diverse array of bioactive compounds.
