ASSESSMENT OF CLOUD COMPUTING ADOPTION AND ITS EFFECT ON THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF THE STUDENTS IN EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY ADO EKITI

ABSTRACT The study was carried out to assess the adoption of cloud computing and its effect on Academic performance of the students. The population for this study comprises students of Ekiti State University and random sampling techniques was used to select total sample size of 100 between four school in the institution. The research question raises were answered using the simple percentage while the hypotheses were tested with percentage analysis. The findings of this study revealed that cloud computing adoption has a substantial impact on student’s academic achievement, indicating that cloud services offer a number of advantages connected with their use at Ekiti State University. Also, gender has no significant effect on students’ academic make use of cloud computing application in other to have a better a understanding on the benefits that cloud computing can bring to research and teaching and learning process, based on the role technologies and playing in the teaching and learning process.
