Abstract

Abstract: Student Result Reconciliation System The Student Result Reconciliation System is a computerized solution designed to identify, manage, and resolve discrepancies in students' academic records and examination results. In many educational institutions, errors may occur during result computation, data entry, grade processing, or record transmission, leading to inconsistencies between students' expected and recorded grades. These issues can negatively affect academic progression, graduation eligibility, and overall student satisfaction. This system provides a centralized platform for students, lecturers, examination officers, and administrators to submit, track, review, and reconcile result-related complaints efficiently. The system automates the reconciliation process by enabling users to compare submitted grades with official records, generate discrepancy reports, maintain audit trails, and facilitate communication among relevant stakeholders. It also incorporates security features such as user authentication, role-based access control, and data validation to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of academic records. The implementation of the Student Result Reconciliation System reduces manual paperwork, minimizes processing delays, improves transparency, and enhances the accuracy of academic result management. By providing timely resolution of result discrepancies, the system contributes to better administrative efficiency and increased confidence in the institution's examination and record-keeping processes. Ultimately, the system serves as a reliable tool for maintaining accurate student academic records and supporting effective decision-making within educational institutions.
