PROBLEMS AFFECTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTING ACTIVITIES IN SOME SELECTED SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN DUTSIN-MA METROPOLIS IN KATSINA STATE
Abstract
This study examined the problems affecting the development of Sporting activities in some selected Secondary School in Dutsin-ma Metropolis in Katsina State. The problems examined in this study include equipment's, facilities, interest and attitude.Frequency and percentages was used to answer the research questions. A self-developed questionnaire with equal number of statement on each of the variables was used to collect data for the study. The Instrument was then administered on a total number of two hundred (200) respondents made up of the Students and Teachers of Physical Education teachers in the study schools. The data collected were analyzed using frequency and percentages. The results revealed that the variable examined affected development of sporting activities in some selected secondary school in Dutsin-Ma Metropolis in Katsina State.
