AN OVERVIEW OF SOME PROPERTIES OF MULTIGROUP THEORY
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study presents an overview of some properties of theory of multigroup as an extension of classical group theory that incorporates the flexibility of multisets, where elements can occur more than once. Beginning with the foundations of set and multiset theory, the research defines multigroup, explores their fundamental properties, and presents theorems, proofs, and examples to illustrate key concepts. It brings together existing findings while introducing fresh insights into how multigroup operate, demonstrating that they preserve the essential principles of group theory while expanding into multiplicity-based systems. By linking the rigor of classical algebra with the versatility of multisets, this research provides a strong platform for theoretical exploration. It recommends incorporating multigroup theory into higher mathematics education and developing computational tools to support further research and analysis.
