Abstract

ABSTRACT Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a technology that uses radio waves to transmit data from an electronic tag. The electronic tag is called an RFID tag, or a tag attached to an object. The object is identified and tracked through a reader. The mature technology is widely used as part of their automation systems by various organizations. This research established an RFID-based system, Android Attendance Management System. The system consists of two main parts: hardware and software. The hardware includes arduino, Bluetooth port and an RFID reader. The RFID reader is a type low-frequency reader (125 kHz), which is connected to the host via a serial converter cable. Android Attendance Management System provides general system functions, such as displays ID tags, ID registration, existence registration and other secondary functions
