DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SURVEILLIANCE CAMERA CONTROL SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE LABORATORY, DSPG)
Abstract
This project focuses on the design and implementation of a surveillance camera control system specifically for a computer lab. The primary goal is to enhance security by providing comprehensive coverage, real-time monitoring, and recording capabilities. The system comprises high-resolution IP cameras, a robust network infrastructure, a dedicated server for processing and storage, and custom software for managing the camera feeds. Key features include live streaming, motion detection, secure remote access, and role-based user management. Through meticulous planning, hardware setup and system integration, the project aims to deliver a user-friendly and reliable surveillance solution. Security measures such as data encryption and strong access controls are implemented to protect against unauthorized access. The effectiveness of the system will be evaluated based on coverage, performance, reliability, and user feedback, ensuring it meets the security needs of the computer lab.
