Abstract

The study was carried out to know the assessment between renewable energy consumption and economnic growth in Nigeria from 1990 to 2023. This wwork contains statement of the problem. research questions were all discussed in chapter one in reference of the topic. Conceptual review from various source was communicated in chapter two. The adoption ofeconometric model using secondary data. Data were source from the Central Bank ofNigeria CBN 2023 statistical bulletin (for RGDP) as well as the US energy information administration for Renewable Energy consumption (REC). The use of statistical method of ordinary least square method (OLS) to analyze the short run relationship berween Renewable Energy Consumption and Economic Growth in Nigeria while granger causality test was to check relationship between variahles. This work also consist of data presentation, data analysis, testing of hypothesis and discussion on major findings.
