CHILD ABUSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Child abuse remains a serious social problem in many societies, with devastating effects on the
physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of children. Managing reports of abuse and
ensuring proper documentation and response is often difficult when handled manually, as it
may result in delayed actions, missing records, and poor data analysis.
This project work focuses on the design and implementation of a Web-Based Child Abuse Management
System. The system is aimed at providing a secure, efficient, and user-friendly platform where
cases of child abuse can be reported, tracked, and managed.
Requirements for the proposed system were gathered through observation, review of related
studies, and informal discussions. The objective of the project is to simplify reporting
processes, maintain confidentiality, and improve record-keeping by developing a system that
allows anonymous reporting, case tracking, and administrative monitoring. The system was
designed using PHP, MySQL, HTML,CSS AND BOOSTRAP with interfaces tailored for both users
and administrators.
The system ensures increased participation in reporting abuse, reduced cases of unreported
incidents, accurate case documentation, and improved response mechanisms. This makes it a
valuable tool for promoting child protection and supporting agencies in managing child abuse
cases effectively.
