THE HISTORY OF ISALE OSUN IN OSOGBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, OSUN STATE UP TO 2022
Abstract
This study is of high premium as it beamed its search light on the history of Isale-Osun whose history has received not too favourable attention from historians. Therefore, this research deals with a micro settlement which is a clear departure from previous academic engagements that had been mega settlement oriented.
This study familiarizes us with the evolution, growth and development of Isale-Osun. The town’s traditional political administration, economic, social-cultural life and challenges were treated.
This study was valuable to historians, sociologists, political scientists and even agricultural experts. Its findings will be a major contribution to historical scholarship.
