Abstract

ABSTRACT Access to reliable and high-speed internet connectivity has become essential for effective communication, research, education, and business operations. However, many areas continue to experience poor network coverage, low bandwidth, and unstable internet services due to infrastructural limitations. This project focuses on the installation and implementation of a Starlink WiFi Internet System as a solution to the challenges of conventional internet service providers. The study examines the concept of satellite-based internet technology and its suitability for providing fast and reliable connectivity in areas with limited network infrastructure. The methodology adopted for this project involved a detailed site survey, selection of appropriate installation locations, and the deployment of the Starlink kit, which includes the satellite dish, router, power supply unit, Ethernet cables, network switch, and wireless access points. Proper installation procedures such as dish mounting, alignment, cable routing, router configuration, and network setup were carried out to ensure optimal system performance. Testing tools and applications were also used to evaluate signal strength, network stability, and internet speed after installation. The results obtained from system testing revealed that the Starlink WiFi Internet System provided stable connectivity, high download and upload speeds, and low latency compared to conventional broadband services. The system demonstrated reliable performance under different conditions and successfully met the internet access requirements of the installation environment. These results confirm the effectiveness of satellite-based internet technology in overcoming geographical and infrastructural limitations. In conclusion, the implementation of the Starlink WiFi Internet System proved to be an efficient and reliable solution for high-speed internet access. The project contributes to knowledge by demonstrating the practical application of satellite internet technology. It is recommended that proper site assessment, regular system maintenance, and user training be carried out to achieve optimal performance. Future studies may focus on performance comparison with other satellite internet systems and long-term cost analysis.
