EVALUATION OF PERFORMANCE ANDSPECIFICENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION COSTOFEXHAUSTGAS EMISSIONS OF A NON-ROADSPARKIGNITION
Abstract
The study evaluates the performance and environmental pollution costs of exhaust gasemissions from non-road spark ignition engines, Non-road spark ignition engines arewidely used in various applications, including handheld equipment, generators, andrecreational vehicles. These engines emits significant amount of pollutants, contributing to environmental degradation and health problems. This researchistoinvestigate on the performance and environmental impacts of non-road sparkignitionengines, including power output, efficiency, and emissions. It also investigates theexhaust gas emissions of non-road spark ignition engines, including CO, HC, NOx andparticulate matter. The study estimates the specific environmental pollutioncost ofexhaust gas emissions from non-road spark ignition engines. The study uses a vibration meter VB-8206SD four stroke spark ignition enginesetupto measure the performance and emissions of non-road spark ignition engines, theresearch employs emissions measurement techniques, such as damage cost approach, exhaust emission gas analyzers and particulate matter samplers. The study alsouseacost estimation model to calculate the specific environmental pollution cost of exhaust
gas emissions. The study aims is to evaluate the selected performance parameters, theexhaust gas emission performance, the specific environmental pollutioncost ofexhaust gas emission of non-road spark ignition engines and in other to developRSM-based prediction system for spark ignition engines
