This research work focused on the development of a web-based stadium ticket reservation system using Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State as a case study. The research work was necessary because of the problems of the existing system which include lack of secure database system used in the storage process of seat reservation, undue stress and fatigue experienced by the sport organizers and managers in manual system seat reservation and ticket acquisition, overcrowding of the stadium gate in order to purchase a ticket. In view of solving these problems, the primary goal of this project is to implement a web based stadium ticket reservation system, for proper and efficient control of activities at the stadium. The specific objectives include: to design a system to manage the ticketing processes of the stadium online, implement the design and test the functionality of the system. The design methodology used is object oriented analysis and design methodology. The programming technologies used are HTML, CSS, PHP and MYSQL database.
