DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SMART POWER REGULATOR FOR OFFICE AUTOMATION USING CCTV CAMERA (CASE STUDY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT, KANO STATE POLYTECHNIC)
Abstract
This project designs and implements a smart power regulator for the Computer Science Department at Kano State Polytechnic, using existing CCTV infrastructure and motion detection algorithms to eliminate energy waste in unoccupied rooms. By utilizing image processing to trigger power management, the system provides a cost-effective, dual-purpose solution for both security and reduced power consumption.
