TITLE: IMPACT OF DISCIPLINE ON WORKERS' PERFORMANCE IN ORGANIZATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY IN ADAMAWA STATE: A CASE STUDY OF YOLA NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

ABSTRACT: This project titled "Impact Of Discipline On Workers' Performance In Organizational Productivity In Adamawa State: A Case Study Of Yola North Local Government Area". The objectives is to find out if there are applications of disciplinary measures in the administration of Yola North Local Government Area and examine the challenges inhibiting administration of disciplinary action in Yola North Local Government Area. For this study design and methodology is based on quantitative descriptive survey from which respondents rating of study constructions are evaluated. The target population of this study were 307,900. The sample and sampling technique use for this study is simple random sampling. The researcher used Taro Yamani formula and got 399 out of the total of the population for the project from which generalization on the research outcome were made. The study used both primary and secondary sources of data, the data were sourced through the use of questionnaires. In this research, simple percentage were employed to compute the questionnaires and chi-square was used to test the hypothesis. The research found that there are disciplinary measures in Yola North local government area and there are challenges inhibiting administration of disciplinary action in Yola North local government area. Therefore, the research conclude and recommends that; Yola North local government area should develop and communicate clear discipline policies and procedures that employees understand the expectations and consequences of their actions and Yola North local government area should lead by example by good discipline to themselves.
