Abstract

ABSTRACT This study investigated the effects of different fertilizer types (NPK, cow dung, and chicken manure) on the growth of Moringa oleifera, maize, and groundnut. The experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replicates. Results showed that the application of chicken manure significantly enhanced the growth parameters of Moringa oleifera, maize, and groundnut, followed by cow dung and NPK. The highest values for plant height, leaf area, and stem diameter were recorded in plants treated with chicken manure. The study concludes that chicken manure is a suitable alternative to inorganic fertilizers (NPK) for promoting the growth of Moringa oleifera, maize, and groundnut, and recommends its adoption for sustainable agricultural practices.
