Abstract

ABSTRACT This project aims to verify the free space path loss (fspl) equation use 8.0GHz, frequency, by use cell signal monitor, the power and voltage in decibel and the logarithmic distance path loss of antenna propagation wavelength of the frequency are used to determine distance between antenna and receiver( cell signal monitor) according to RSSI values. The research is carried out in which the required result to be funded lack of network in some coverage area within the batagarawa local government in is completely determined. This was determinedly making RSSI characterization study in some coverage area of batagarawa. Then determined parameters are used to perform a localization test. The power gain is a measured of how much an amplifier increases the power of a signal, which the result is often from table4.1, which result in decibel is (-0.3063dB). And the voltage gain (A) is a measured how much an amplifier increase the voltage of the signal, which result form table 4.1: is (-0.6126dB).The result form table 4.2: is FSPL (3183.1) and FSPL in decibel is (121.566dB). RSSI characterization and localization tests are carried out for different areas of the batagarawa’ effects and success of all antennas was verified.
