ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of radio jingles as a tool for curbing electoral violence in Kwara State. It highlights how strategic radio messaging has been employed to promote peace, voter education, and non-violent participation during elections. Through the analysis of audience responses and campaign effectiveness, the research reveals that radio jingles significantly influenced public awareness and attitudes, contributing to a reduction in violent incidents and fostering a more peaceful electoral environment. The findings underscore the importance of media in conflict prevention and recommend increased investment in radio-based advocact during election periods.
