DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL DETECTOR DEVICES
Abstract
A T B S R A C T This project present the design, construction and testing of a mobile phone signal detector device. A device that detect an active signal of cell phone, when active or in silent mode. The circuit uses an antenna for the reception of RF signal. The received signal is stored by the capacitors which coupled the signal to the LM358 IC. This voltage helps us to give the indication of the presence of active mobile phone signal. The presence of the signal is indicated by a blinking LED light and audible buzzer sound. This circuit is capable of detecting, incoming call, outgoing call, incoming/outgoing SMS and video calls even if the mobile phone is in silent mode. The constructed prototype worked and detection of phone signals is effective up to 1m. The device can be used in oil and gas stations to detect and therefore forestall possibility of accidents that may be caused by cell phone radiation. It can also be used to detect cell phone signals in unauthorized areas.
