Abstract

The increasing demand for energy efficient and sustainable solutions has led to the development of solar powered and lighting system. These systems offer numerous benefits, including reduced energy consumption, lower maintenance cost, and environmental sustainability, This project aims to model and implement a solar powered street lighting system that is efficient The project involves the design and development of a solar powered street lighting system that use a photovoltaic (PV) panel to generate electricity, battery to store excess energy and a lighting emitting diode (LED) light to provide illumination.
