Abstract

ABSTRACT This project was carried out for the purpose of statistical analysis of family planning methods in Kano. The data used for this project was obtained from Malam Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH). The statistical technique used is the Chi-square test, which finally reveals that the method of family planning does not depend on age group. Multiple and simple bar charts were used, showing the increase in the number of people practicing the method from year to year. Equally, the model equation of the method was analyzed through which a forecast was made. Based on the findings, the study recommends that the government should continue to encourage family planning in Kano metropolis as well as the entire state.
