Abstract

The abstract details a research study investigating the effects of incorporating varying levels of Sida acuta leaf and ginger into the diets of growing rabbits. Objective: To examine the impact on growth performance and gut histo-morphometry. Methodology: Twenty-one growing rabbits were divided into five treatment groups, receiving diets with 0% (control), 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% inclusion of the mixture. Key Findings: Gut morphometry parameters (weight) were significantly affected. Villus height varied significantly across treatments; the control group had the highest height, while the 10% inclusion group (T3) had the lowest, suggesting a negative impact at that level, except for the 20% inclusion group (T5) which showed a high villus height. Villus width was also measured. Villus height and crypt depth: Highest in T1 (control group), significantly lower in T3, T4, and T5. Muscular thickness: Highest in T4, suggesting a non-linear response. Villus surface area: OP Villus height and crypt depth: Highest in T1 (control group), significantly lower in T3, T4, and T5. Muscular thickness: Highest in T4, suggesting a non-linear response. Villus surface area: Highest in T1 (51,735.00 \(m^{2}\)) and lowest in T3 (19,087.00 \(m^{2}\)), decreasing as the additive level increased. Overall performance: The control group (T1) performed best. Moderate additive levels (T2 and T3) negatively affected gut morphology, while T5 showed some recovery, indicating potential for optimized dosing.Highest in T1 (51,735.00 .m )and lowest in T3 (19,087.00 .m ),decreasing as the additive level increased.
