SYNTHESIS CHARACTERIZATION OF CUPPER NANOPARTICLES USING ACACIA SAMOSA EXTRACT

Abstract

The copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) have attracted much attention due to their application in diverse fields. The applications of CuNPs depend on their physical and chemical properties. This study synthesized CuNPs using acacia samosa extract as an eco-friendly reagent in the synthesis of CuNPs using copper sulfate as a starting material, acacia samosa was employed as a bio director as well as a capping agent in the formation of CuNPs. The reaction process was assisted by sonication and string. the characterization of the synthesized CuNPs using acacia samosa extract was done by using FT-IR spectroscopic techniques. The presence of copper nanoparticles was evidently confirmed using Uv-Vis standard curve techniques. XRS was carried out to ascertain the levels of elements presents in the synthesized CuPNs.
