DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNET BASED FORUM SYSTEM
Abstract
An online discussion forum is a web-based application that tends to brings people with shared interests together. Its emergence as a common tool and an effective way of engaging students outside the classroom is laudable as students have the privilege of massive information access thereby creating a deeper understanding of the subject matter being discussed. ThePlatform was developed using web development tools such as PYTHON, DJANGO, HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT. The system was tested, implemented and hosted locally. The benefits of using an internet based forum system cannot be over emphasized. This is because the system will increase the speed of communication, online education, distance learning, global orientation, up to date awareness of various educational development, system of project application which can be shared amidst groups and many more.
