Abstract

ABSTRACT This project presents the design and implementation of a mobile learning application tailored for computer science students. The application integrates multiple features, including course-specific quizzes from 100 to 400 levels, a grade point average (GPA) calculator, a student guide, and a basic Kotlin programming keywords section. Developed using Kotlin in Android Studio and following the Waterfall model, the application ensures a structured development process. The primary objective is to enhance student engagement, facilitate self-assessment, and support academic performance tracking. Traditional learning methods often lack interactivity and immediate feedback, making it difficult for students to evaluate their understanding. This project addresses these challenges by providing a mobile-based solution that enables students to test their knowledge, monitor their academic progress, and access essential learning resources. The methodology involves systematic planning, design, development, and testing to ensure a user-friendly and efficient application. The results indicate that the application successfully enhances learning by offering an interactive platform for quizzes, GPA calculation, and programming knowledge acquisition. In conclusion, this mobile learning application serves as an effective educational tool for computer science students, promoting self-paced learning and academic improvement, with potential future enhancements such as additional programming language support and real-time quiz analytics.
