Abstract

This research evaluates the accounting system of Cadbury Nigeria PLC, focusing on its operational effectiveness, compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS), and challenges faced in financial reporting. Using a case study approach, both qualitative and quantitative data were collected from financial records and staff interviews. Findings reveal strengths in automated reporting processes but identify gaps in internal controls and staff training. Recommendations are made to enhance accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
