ARITHMETIC AND PHYSICAL CONNECTION BETWEEN BLOOD GLUCOSE AND BLOOD PRESSURE.”
Abstract
Transportation plays a vital role in ensuring effective mobility within university environments, contributing significantly to students’ academic activities and the overall functioning of the institution. This study assesses the transportation services available on the campus of Adekunle Ajasin University located in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. The study aims to examine the types of transportation services available on campus, evaluate their accessibility and reliability, identify challenges faced by users, and assess the level of satisfaction among students and staff.
A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. Data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to selected students and staff members who regularly utilize transportation services within and around the university campus. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods such as frequency counts and percentages.
Findings from the study revealed that various modes of transportation such as motorcycles, tricycles, taxis, and buses are commonly used by members of the university community. However, the study also identified several challenges including high transportation costs, irregular availability of vehicles, traffic congestion, and safety concerns. These issues were found to affect the efficiency and convenience of transportation services on campus.
The study concludes that although transportation services are available within the university environment, improvements are necessary to enhance their effectiveness and reliability. The study recommends that university management implement regulated campus shuttle services, improve road infrastructure, and introduce policies to regulate transport fares and ensure safety standards for operators.
These measures will contribute to improving mobility, reducing transportation challenges, and enhancing the overall academic experience within the university community.
