Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of public relations (PR) strategies employed by Zenith Bank in Osogbo, Nigeria. In an increasingly competitive banking sector, effective PR is crucial for building brand reputation, fostering customer loyalty, and enhancing stakeholder engagement. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys of customers and qualitative interviews with PR professionals at Zenith Bank. Findings reveal that the bank's PR initiatives, including community engagement programs and digital communication strategies, significantly improve public perception and customer satisfaction. However, challenges such as limited outreach in rural areas and the need for more targeted messaging are identified. The study concludes that while Zenith Bank's PR efforts are generally effective, there is room for enhancement to better serve diverse customer segments and reinforce its market position. Recommendations include expanding community involvement and leveraging social media analytics for more tailored communication.
